1978:  The NEWSTART Lifestyle Program was founded by physicians at Weimar Institute, U.S.A.

Since 1982, HELP, Inc., has taken the NEWSTART Lifestyle Program free to the public in a format called Health Expo in cooperation with Ministries of Health in over 200 cities in 40 countries around the world.

In 1994, by invitation of the Turkmenistan Ministry of Health, NEWSTART Health Expos were held in the cities of Ashgabat and Maary.

In 1997, the Physicians' Committee for Responsible Medicine (Washington, DC) rated the NEWSTART Lifestyle Program #2 in the nation for long term results.

In 2000, the NEWSTART Lifestyle Program received congressional endorsement and is being reviewed by the Health Care Financing Administration as a model for a multi-center demonstration project for the reversal of coronary artery disease.

The NEWSTART Lifestyle Program includes lifestyle medicine television programs (www.ihmc.org) and specializes in reversal of heart disease and diabetes (www.ReversingDiabetes.org).
